This thing is great! Easily changes your normally bottom-mounted chair to side-mounts. Which means I can now recline the seat. Good stuff
I'm very satisfied with the overall quality of this profile, it's thick, it's sturdy and it is well cut. The shipping was very fast, I saw that SimXPro started processing my order even before 12/08/2022 when they were on holidays. The instructions are very clear, I had no problems to assemble it. The only problem I encountered is related with the universal mount. When you order the universal mount, you don't get the 4080 profile piece of 58cm that is supposed to act as a connector between the uprights. It is instead replaced by the steel bracket for a DD wheelbase. It is logical. In my specific case it's a 10kg small Mige motor. Provided that the bracket itself weights slightly over 2kg, that gives a total mount weight of 12kg and it's supposed to act as a connector at the same time. In practice the mount is too heavy and this makes the overall build unbalanced, when I countersteer (Mige peaked at 14Nm) I had some flex/wobbling. I can recreate it at any time just by slightly tapping on the universal mount with my hand. I should also mention that I double checked all the connections and I tightened all the bolts and all the nuts are sitting properly. My future solution to this will be to order a 4080 profile piece of 58cm (which I will mount under the universal wheel mount) and 4 steel brackets to reinforce the uprights. As I've seen from the other comments, if you have a 120 profile this won't be a problem for you, probably because the universal mount connects with 12 bolts and not 8 as in my case.
