I just finished intalling the VDLS on my Sebring and it went exactly as expected. I must admit that I was far from certain that it would happen like that since I am not a mechanic and was concerned that one of the steps would not go as planned. I am really happy with the result.
I had looked at two other solutions for this issue on the internet and they both involved soldering, which I was not fond of doing. As such, your approach is much more "accessible" to all, as a fix.
