Sceptical at first, Blown Away by how great Roar functions!
I was very skeptical. Installed on a Chevy Cruze 1.8 ecotec. Had been considering aftermarket tuning to try and gain some low end, the car would struggle to get out of it's own way. Roar has woke up the bottom end acceleration drastically. Honestly amazed at how shit the engineers at GM have reduced throttle response on the 1.8 ecotec to gain MPG. Roar Pedal Controller has removed the MPG tuning that had made response garbage from the factory. Installation took about 3 minutes. Was considering Pedal Commander, but understanding how these devices effect voltage output to control drive by wire throttle bodies, I figure I would save $150 by going with Roar, and honestly, there isn't really any advantage in spending double to get Pedal Commander as both devices are simply changing voltage output to control how fast and open the throttle blade opens on your throttle body. If you have a Drive By Wire vehicle, you need to grab one. Worth every penny!
This device surprised me immensely! I really wasn’t expecting much but it’s insane in race mode! It literally made my 2018 GMC Denali 6.2l pickup feel like a race car. I personally like sport mode for most of my driving but it’s so easy to switch between modes, I change it up every time I drive.
Was skeptical about this whole this, shipping took forever but once I installed it...I'm in shock, first drive literally brought tears of excitement lol
Definitely the best $160 I’ve spent. Well worth the purchase if you’re on the fence. I can’t imagine how it would’ve been had I gotten this when I had my Challenger RT...probably would’ve made it feel like a 6.4 L. However, it does wonders for my Durango GT which has terrible throttle lag when in normal mode. Sport mode made it better, but I wanted better response times and Roar Pedal provides just that. 10/10
