The throttle controller definitely works as promised. My personal experience has shown that I cannot use it in race mode or sport plus because it causes unwanted downshifting. It doesn't make throttle response quicker, it does make response deeper. What I mean is on higher settings with my 5.7ltr V-8, it makes the car act as if I am depressing pedal deeper than is natural thereby making minute throttle adjustments difficult. It makes the car too likely to downshift even when unwanted. Personally I find I can only use the unit in lower settings, rendering its usefulness very limited.
