  Roar Pedal® Throttle Response Controller

  Great

  Love it. Bought this for my 2020 Mazda 3. Almost no lag. Acceleration is smooth. Definitely can tell the difference between the P and R switch. Race mode is deceptively quick. I stay mostly in Normal or Sport but eco is nice in high traffic areas. I strongly recommend.

  Great product, but my Volvo doesn’t get along with it.

  It would appear that my 2012 Volvo V70 D5 doesn’t get along with Roar Pedal. Once I had received the kit and installed and set up Roar Pedal the results weren’t great (car revving high on tickover and revving up when engaging gear which mostly disappeared after a short while). When this had subsided the results were good, until you turned the ignition off, then when restarting it would go through the whole scenario again. Emailing Roar Pedal LLC customer services was a painless experience and a new ‘box’ was sent out to me as they suspected it to be faulty (customer service for me was great, despite what some other reviews have said). However, upon installing the issues persist, exactly the same. I have resigned myself to the fact that the complicated electrical system on my Volvo is somehow interfering with it (modern Volvo’s have notoriously complicated electrical systems). So my options are to either live with it or uninstall it, I have tried numerous permutations to successfully get it working correctly but to no avail. So to summarise, when the product works, it works, and it works well. Unfortunately in my case the car doesn’t seem to like it, but many other folks are having great success with it.

  Easy and Highly Customizeable Corvette C7 Mod

  I've put a few weeks practice on the Roar Pedal to get familiar with it before posting a review. It was easy to install on my new-to-me 2016 Corvette C7 manual Stingray. Even though it's the base model, it's got a bunch of punch but not as much as the supercharged versions. Evidently even the higher hp Vettes get some of the factory-programmed settings that, to me, feel a bit restrictive. An example: even when you are parked and revving the engine, throttle response tends to lag for a split second before revving. And when driving in the lower and middle gears, a quick punch to wide open throttle feels a tad slow. The Roar Pedal reduced the lag and gives me a lot of ability to tweak throttle response. I daily drive in Sport 5 and bump it into Sport+ 6 for spirited drives. I tinkered with the Race mode, and it's aggressive and I may need a bit more experience to use it, but super cool it's there. I'm waiting for a longer interstate drive to put it in Eco mode to try to reduce the fuel consumption, and for me I didn't want to use the Corvette's V4 cylinder deactivation so this is a great bypass to adjust the throttle response versus the factory V4 mode. I opted for the wireless remote and really like it. The app seemed fine, but I tend to leave my phone in my pocket as much as I can, and I prefer the ability to adjust the settings through the remote. I mounted the remote on my console above the shifter, but I could move it to a hidden spot later if I want. For now, I'm enjoying being able to adjust anytime I want. In summary, this is a really effective mod and a lot of fun to have on my car.

  Perfect for 2 3L Ford Ranger

  I already have one in my 2023 Camaro, so when I bought my 2024 Ford Ranger (2.3L), this was a no-brainer. RoarPedal took the pedal lag out, which improves throttle responsiveness and helps keep the 10 speed transmission happier. As such, any engine lugging due to the stock throttle/transmission calibration has been eliminated.
