I have started using this for the first time in the last two weeks on a pony who seems to attract all the flies! They haven’t all gone but hands down the best I have tried yet and no nasty residue and smells amazing.

JMJackie M. - The best fly spray
This is an excellent fly spray and it smells gorgeous. I love it, I think it is aromatherapy effective as well as keeping the fly's off the horse and me 😊❤️😊

If it’s oil is it safe to use in the sun? Do they not burn?
Hi Sharon, yes it's perfectly safe to use in the sun. You rub a tiny amount through their coat to their skin, no more than the natural oils in the horse's coat. So there's no danger of burning. I hope that helps, Diane
Does this stain grey horses when applied ? Everything I apply for flies seems to leave brown smear marks …
Hi Anne, It doesn't stain greys, no. In fact it helps to bring the dirt out of a horse's coat and leave it conditioned. I hope that helps, Diane
When will this be back available please
Hi Rachel, Fly Shield Spray is now available for 2021 on the website. Thanks for enquiring
Does this have citronella in it as my pony is nightly allergic to it.
Hi Magz, it doesn't have citronella in, but essential oils share many common ingredients even if in tiny amounts. So we always recommend doing a patch test when using any new product. I hope this helps
Is this safe for pregnant mares/pregnant woman to apply? I see this question has been asked and you suggest asking for veterinary advice but how can I do this this without knowing the full list of ingredients?
Hi Jacqui, the essential oils are all very gentle on humans and horses but there just isn't a lot of research into their use on pregnant women. So I have to refer you to specialists. There are no published upper limits, but most importantly neither is there any published evidence of any harm caused. I breed horses and of all the fly sprays on the market I am more confident about using Fly Shield than any other.
