At first I thought it wasn't working as I was getting a strong signal downstairs from the router which was upstairs. I have since moved house and set up the wifi with Shield Cover and it definitely works. It turned out the occupant in the unit next door, decided to turn her router UP when we politely asked if she would mind trying to turn it down. The signal was coming from her unit, through our garage and into our whole living/dining area. We couldn't escape it.
The reading now is acceptable within 6' of the unit but I doubled the extra fabric over the front which probably increased its effectiveness. The computer (24' away) in the next room is picking up wifi without a problem.
This gives me peace of mind to be able to have my laptop on my (actual) lap!! I looked into mats that do the same thing but this is far more versatile as you can use it on the couch, in bed - everywhere. good size too!
Great service, and the owner got the item posted out to me express before my trip! The Belly band itself works well! I know this because I am a Type 1 Diabetic and the band covered my CGM, which blocked the Bluetooth signal to my pump. That's powerful! (don't worry I figured out how to still get my readings, but for me I knew that was a great product if it could do that)
