I poured a concrete base to ensure a solid level foundation.At 77 years old. It took3 short days to assemble. Had to set up a scaffold for the top half, and got help with the cap. Wife is happy!!!

Everything went very smoothly. Hardest part was wire brushing the blocks. I’d pay extra for pre cleaned blocks. It would cut the construction time in half.

Great experiences delivery scheduled ahead of time both by the delivery service and then the driver called when he was an hour away. My husband took about 4-5 days to build it alone. But he had to haul the stones from the bottom of our driveway so the added time. Then he had to have help with a tractor and 2 adult sons and one teenage grandson to lift the tops to the wood boxes and the cap of the fireplace. I think it is beautiful! And we have had may compliments!

Every thing came out great but I will say that you need to update your installation video because what I received was entirely different than what is represented in the video and also the fire brick didn’t install as it should have which I figured out on my own by using refractory mortar to makeup the space between the horizontal blocks to make them flush with the vertical blocks but other than that everything went smoothly.

Pavers fit perfectly together, it was easy to install once the base layers were set. Friends tell me it looks amazing, they thought it would take forever to install but it went quick. shipping was spot on time. Tried to upload photos, kept getting 'invalid api key' but they are just photos from my iphone.

The Fremont fireplace kit is great. The one complaint would be that you should double the amount of adhesive you provide with the kit and maybe some spacers/penny’s ($2 worth) to help keep the rows of blocks level.

Easy to follow directions. It took a weekend to install

The delivery went great. We have not started building it yet, but I can't wait to start.
