It turned out great. I’m really happy with the Princeton fireplace. It was not easy lugging 4.5 tons of blocks, brick by brick up a hill path from the driveway to the build site, but it got done. Also, the capstone was a royal pain in the neck. As suggested, I ended up building a scaffolding and pulley. But it’s done now and I’m happy.
They make it so easy for you! It’s such a great concept. I love a big DIY that has an even bigger splash like this!
I got 70% of it done all by myself and had that done in a day. Finished up the next morning with a couple friends.
