I was reluctant to order because because I like phone numbers. It makes me feel like I'm dealing with a "real business" . Once I figured that part out and got to speak with Paul he set us up and everything went seamlessly and we have an incredible gazebo fire place! Its not 100% complete but I can't wait to share the pictures anyway.

Amazing! With little experience I was able to work with a friend and get this done in a few days. Product and service was excellent and highly recommend. Only comment is that airflow due to large space in chimney is strong and therefore ashes come out of top. Needed to place some 1/4" chicken wire on top of chimney to deal with that. Otherwise, awesome!

Such a positive experience from ordering, delivery and building our Fremont fireplace w/woodboxes and a chimney extension! I was able to complete it in a week (working on it part-time) by myself. The hardest part was moving the blocks from my front drive to the back of the house, had to break down pallets and put them on a trailer to move. I was able to put the chimney cap and woodbox covers on by myself with a little rigging. We truly enjoy the look and would do it again! Thank You - Ron

Awesome experience from start to finish. Paul is the man. Great communication, fast delivery, and beautiful product. Took me under 3 hours to build myself following the easy and clear instructions. It throws a tremendous amount of heat and light off of that back wall. We are very happy with the final product. Thank you!

Great experience our order arrived quicker than the 3 weeks noted it was about a week and a half delivered on an independent old Dominion freight line locally with a driver that was very helpful your mileage may vary as it is truly up to the delivery service as to how much they help I had nine pallets which we pushed approximately 40 yards each I tipped the driver well. The build experience was extremely easy my 23-year-old son kept calling it adult Legos. We did the build in 3 days two of those days were solo, getting about 2/3 done on the day of two people. We also spent about an hour and a half of assembly of the ramp and placement of the chimney Cap. We had a concrete pad poured prior to installation so the base was already set and I recommend this method to make sure it's as level as possible and saves lots of time once the product arrives. We added the Batwing boxes and a chimney extension my wife loves the look of the Batwing boxes and extension. I love that the additional chimney extension creates a better draw and smoke exits higher didn't at first like the additional work that my wife required. I had extra glue of about two tubes left over I was very conservative with my application of the glue of which I feel like I could have used a bit more but didn't affect structural intergrity everything is very solid. The chimney Cap with the additional chimney extension was the hardest part we actually built a ramp out of 2x4s that were screwed together and braced to the ground me and one other person slid the cap up the 2x4s placing screws behind so that it didn't slide back down till we got all the way to the top and then one person held it at top of ramp while it was pulled over the top. You definitely need to install the chimney Cap vertical pavers that the cap actually sits on the day before so the glue has plenty of time to set up. We ended up with over a half of pallet of pavers left so any pavers that you don't like during the build process you should easily be able to change out as we didn't realize! I used a couple broke pavers inside the chimney where they would be unseen as I figured I would be left with just a couple pavers. We plan on adding a cedar mantle as well.

Very close to Great! A few missing bricks found during build but that was resolved very quickly as they over-nighted the bricks. A bit disappointed with the mantle bricks as they have spacer bumps on all sides. Will need to grind those down. Other than that, Romanstone was a WONDERFUL company to work with and have a great product.

What a grind but we’ll worth it! Saved thousands! Highly recommend having concrete slab poured I’d you don’t have existing location with solid ground, over crushed rock / sand. Either work -but focus on your build not the excavation. Leave that to the pros! You’ve plenty of work ahead of you! Order came in on time, assembled neatly, all pieces and extra so no worries about something forgotten. Directions are piece of cake! Take a week or a weekend and you’ll have this up in no time. Was great experience and proud of the hard work. It’s beautiful. I used extra stone in kit to extend base and make it more “robust” looking. Wish the wood boxes were maybe 6” to foot wider but they work as they should !! This throws out some heat! Love it !!
