    Hello, I'm not sure about fog but we do know that rain and snow, especially when it is heavy, can reduce the strength of the signals from mobile networks... I assume fog could have the same effect. If this problem continues, please send us more details to our support email address so we can investigate.

    Sorry you encountered that. Sometimes when close to the border the bordering country's mobile networks are configured to have a stronger signal than the Swiss network in order to collect "roaming" fees which are very profitable for them! We have configured the iSpot Connect devices to not allow roaming and most of them should also be configured to be forced to use one of our Swiss partner networks and never connect to a bordering country's network. In your case it seems that the device connected to the French network and as roaming is not allowed on the device you lost connectivity. Apologies for the inconvenience!
