Hello, The service has been quite good but last night it was very slow. I am wondering if it is because it was quite foggy. If the service is like that again over the next couple of days it will not be usable and I will have to make use of the 1 week return window.
All good apart from the two nights we spent on house right on the French border (but still in Switzerland) when it didn’t work at all, which was disappointing.
Sorry you encountered that. Sometimes when close to the border the bordering country's mobile networks are configured to have a stronger signal than the Swiss network in order to collect "roaming" fees which are very profitable for them! We have configured the iSpot Connect devices to not allow roaming and most of them should also be configured to be forced to use one of our Swiss partner networks and never connect to a bordering country's network. In your case it seems that the device connected to the French network and as roaming is not allowed on the device you lost connectivity. Apologies for the inconvenience! I am using iSport Connect regularly in the mountains. The quality for e-mails and internet surfing is very good. With zoom the stability is not always 100 percent. On some days the connections is unstable, even with sporadic cuts during online conferences .
Amazing experience, as usual, being at my 3rd year in a row) :>)) After receiving my new hotspot by post, it took me literally 10 seconds to set up and use it ! Thanks for everything.

Hello, I'm not sure about fog but we do know that rain and snow, especially when it is heavy, can reduce the strength of the signals from mobile networks... I assume fog could have the same effect. If this problem continues, please send us more details to our support email address so we can investigate.
