I had some issues getting the car to work initially. So I reached out and the Let’s Start Coding team was amazing at helping me walk through a variety of things until everything was working perfectly. (I want to point out that they didn’t even know I was a blogger working with them during all this!) They are just extremely dedicated to making sure their customers are happy with their purchases and that everything runs as it should. My kids have been having a great time learning the basics of typed code through these hands-on electronic gadgets.

This kit reminds me of watching my dad work on computer boards, he was an electrical engineer, and he taught me a few computer programming skills back in the day. I think that this product is more useful for my boys than learning about putting blocks together like in Tynker or another program like that. They have found more enjoyment using the kits for the last few weeks than they have for the last 4 months of using other coding programs.

At first you look at this and think it's like a little car toy (no motors), but because I also have the piano and base kits, I knew there was more than meets the eye. My kid loved flashing the lights and making the car his own unique toy. He started with the piano and then moved to this, so it was cool to see how the skills he learned crossed over. He was showing me stuff he learned that I didn't even know!!
