I paired the sub with two 2TD's No only does it look great, they sound amazing together. The sub fills in the bottom end more than I expected. Both electronic as well as acoustic music sound more three dimensional. Acoustic instruments now sound as if they are in the room. Amazing. I am powering the sub with a Dayton 1200DSP with a 12db roll off at 80hz and leaving the Critons full frequency. They are powered by two Hypex NC400s and have an extraordinarily space filled sound. The bass isn't boomy at all, sounds entirely natural -- it's now just there as it should be. Kick drums -- now you can tell how tight the drum head is. Sub-harmonics from tom toms come through clearly while not stepping on the mid and high range frequencies covered by the TDs. This setup is really great. Even my wife, who is deeply skeptical of the whole Hi-Fi thing, said, "wow, those really do sound good." A first.
