Just got my new Premier series 5 wt yesterday for a Birthday gift. this Rod is way prettier than the picture! Its like fine furniture for fishing! I'll update as soon as I get to fish it.

I am so impressed with this fly rod. I live in Wisconsin and fish the driftless area spring creeks. The Gallatin is the perfect rod. It casts amazingly accurate. I love the feel of medium action, it is able to shoot line out to 40 feet and land the fly on a dime. I was extremely nervous about spending this amount of money. I bought the complete package of flyrod, reel and fly line. David was patient and informative to work me through the process of selecting the proper rod for my needs. David was fantastic to work with in explaining the tapers and actions available. I own 3 graphite flyrods but have fished the bamboo rod exclusively since I purchased it. I am will be purchasing another fly rod soon.
