Love everything I've tried of theirs, especially the 100 proof bourbon and the 118 proof. Also had good experiences ordering online, and with customer service. Have already recommended to friends.
I do love this stuff! After my first few tastes of this bourbon, I just had to order more, not knowing how much longer it will be available or whether it will continue to be offered as a regular item. If you doubt the effect of the honey barrel aging on the whiskey, pour yourself a shot neat (the only way I'll ever drink this), enjoy it, and when you've finished, don't wash or rinse the glass; leave it out on a table to dry. Once the glass has dried, poke your nose into the glass and take a good, deep, sniff. The aroma you'll get is the same as the one you get when you sniff an un-lit, pure beeswax candle, or the leftover wax from pure comb honey - heavenly! Here's hoping this product becomes a regular offering from Revivalist Spirits!
When I ordered this, I was expecting to have to say that I didn't taste any real difference between this and the regular Resurgent 104, but I was pleasantly surprised by my side-by-side taste test. This seems slightly smoother, has a very subtly and pleasantly different taste, and seems to have a somewhat denser "mouthfeel". I'd definitely buy this again.
