This is not only my favorite rye - it’s one of my favorite affordable whiskey’s. Great to drink neat or with a little ice. It’s not too harsh in the start, but then has an amazingly smooth orangey finish that makes you want to take another sip.
An excellent young bourbon. I would love to see what another 2 years of aging would do to it. Great neat, but with some water it truly flowers into a magnificent sip. Only downside is the lack of a finish. Another few years in the barrel will truly bring this bourbon into its full potential. Despite that, It is an excellent young bourbon that I shall purchase again
