Lovely bottle and clever gimmick using the garden hose faucet valve handle as a lid. That said, I'm not really a gin enthusiast, but I did like this botanical one. The botanical's flavors are subtle and the juniper flavor remains in the background, not overpowering as it is in typical gins. As much as I liked this gin, I think I like Revivalist's "Summertide" botanical gin even better.
I’m no a gin drinker, but impressed by the distillation process, I gave it a try. I tried it over ice with a black cherry seltzer. Very simple…very refreshing 👍👍.
If you like rye, this one is very good and is moderately complex. I definitely get typical rye flavors like dill and some medicinal flavors. For me, the nose started with dill and transformed into floral, almost perfume. This rye punches above its weight class.
