Our Fremont fireplace was the center piece of our Christmas eve! Built it 2 years ago with chimney extensions to get it above the roofline of our firepit house. Assembled in just two weekends (it would have been one except for grandpa responsibilities). We love it and spend many evenings and make lots of s'mores out there.

This is a great product. Very easy instructions to follow along with good communication from Romanstone of when it was going to ship and then the day that it did actually ship they called to let us know it was on the way. It was just a couple of days later the carrier called and we had the kit delivered. The delivery was on time and the truck driver helped tremendously.

My wife and I did the whole preoject ourselves. Being retired it took just under 2 weeks to complete. Paul was extremely helpful when ordering and answering my questions. Never did pavers before but it went really well from start to finish. I mixed concrete and made a boarder around the pavers which turned out awesome. We ordered 2 circle kits and the layout was easy. Thank-you for an amazing patio that we will really enjoy.

The build has taken longer than expected. We bought the Princeton Kit and there weren't any videos on how to build it (there is one for the Fremont). Instructions are good. I wish someone would have told us the amount of shimming we would have to do. the stones are not all the same size and coins need to be used to get every layer level. Another trick we used was to start every row from the exact sam spot every time. We square and level from this spot every time. Overall, I've really enjoyed building this. The instructions for the base foundation were great.

My family and I enjoy this fireplace kit so much and turned out better than expected! We did order the kit directly and saved money arranging our own transportation through ship landcal.com. Saved about $4300 off the kit by arranging our own pickup and transportation. Contact shiplandcal.com and they can help. We spent 16 hours total on this project over one weekend. We ordered the Rockwall with 3 extensions so that we can raise the height of the fire boxes to 4 ft tall for regulation with the unground pool fence. Additionally, the extensions made the formation of the Harth stretch all the way across. You definitely need help putting the cap on top as it’s a two person job for sure! It’s heavy! We love our fireplace!
