Love our new fireplace!!! Customer service was very helpful with any questions we had. The fireplace arrived so quickly too! It took a few days to build but was totally worth it!

Ok, so first let me say that the end product is absolutely beautiful and I think we will enjoy it for years and years to come, we haven’t built a fire in it yet due to just finishing it today, so idk how well that part is. But, on the process of building this thing was oh so much work and you BETTER better better make sure you are measuring and making sure it is level every step of the way or you will mess this thing up for sure!!! It took us (my husband who is 42, me- 35 year old female, 13 year old daughter, and occasionally 11 and 9 year old daughters) about 10 hours on the first evening/night, 6-7 hours the second day, and then about an hour on 3rd day to place the top piece, the trim up top, and mantle pieces. So it takes a long to time to build this but it’s mainly because you have to level it every step of the way and the stones are very heavy and get harder and harder to lift as you go up. Also, we used a backhoe with forks on it to lift the top piece up and then placed it up there and then stood on ladders and the top part of fireplace to get the stone in the right spot. That part was the most difficult and idk if the glue is even doing anything on it up there but maybe it’s so heavy it won’t ever move anyway (we hope)! Also, some of the stones are still moving and we used glue and shims/coins just like instructed. And, about 3 tubes of the glue rusted at the ends and wouldn’t work in the caulk gun, so make sure you get that box of glue out and take inside if it’s going to be some time before you build because it was about a month ours sat outside before we were able to build. But now that it’s done, we are still thankful to have it and glad it was affordable enough to buy it.

We are so pleased with our Rockwell kit. What I was most impressed with though was the communication from the Romanstone team. It’s very refreshing to work with a company that handles every interaction so professionally. The two hardest parts about the build were the base and the chimney cap. Assembling the kit itself was pretty simple and we were able to complete the project in a couple days of working on it a few hours at a time. I recommend hiring someone to move the pallets to your job site and renting a duct lift to assist in placing the chimney cap.
MMegan A.Verified buyer I would have liked the wood box's to be larger, and for stones for a mantelpiece. I'll have to look at Home Depot or Lowes for that.

I’m very happy that I bought the Princeton fireplace, customer service was excellent at everything with the transaction of buying it, it’s a well thought out project for the do it yourself and I saved a lot, compared to a contractor company, I definitely will be buying from them again and recommend too my neighbors who love the fireplace five ⭐️ all the way

I was skeptical at first about buying the Princeton fire place kit, until I started reading all the five star reviews, I thought okay if these ordinary home owners can do it what do I have too loose other than my money, well let me tell you it’s one of the best things I done in a long time, as a DIYer it’s very thought out for the do it your Selfer. The instructions are all self explanatory even my 7 year old loved helping out. My neighbors love it and so does my family that’s the main thing, The base is the most important part of your project so do it right the first time, I myself dug down in the ground 16 inches and used crusher run rock for my base tamping it down every 3-4 inch increments and poured a 8” concrete slab with rebar crisscross pattern. The only hard part about the whole thing was the top cap of the fire place, I went and rented a material lift for $60.00 well worth it, it’s a five star all the way nothing less 👍♥️😃,
