Fast shipping, nicely packaged and looks great.
JAJacob A.Verified buyer The video displayed blocks that were rectangle in shape but I was sent blocks that were polygonal in shape. Did I have a choice? Also, the Batwing Boxes are only 15" X 15". This just wasn't clear. I would prefer the boxes to be at least 24" in depth (front to back). It would be better for the consumer (me!) to have a customer service number that we could call to have questions answered.

Great kit. Everything was as described. I used much more glue than the 9 tubes provided. It took double that amount. We had problems with the 1/2 shipment going to the west coast for some reason. Took an extra week to get the shipment. Would have been 5 stars without the glue and shipping issues. Build the kit in 10.5 hours over 2 days. Would purchase again.

I used two circle kits and added additional 6x6 cobble pavers to create a large circular patio for our propane fire pit. I didn't need to cut a single paver and is beautiful.

I would highly recommend this circle kit! We ordered 2 so our circle was 12.5. We got the Bethany Ledge color and were able to do this ourselves. It turned out great!!

The kit was easy to order, shipped promptly and came with everything expected. With the exception of the wood box caps and chimney cap, I completed this project all myself - one man effort - over 2 weekends and a little time between. While overall I think it turned out great, there were some things I think could be improved. The bricks themselves needed significant cleaning with a wire brush to remove dry cement dust that I assume may have come from the molds or just storage. This probably added several hours of time to the build. Additionally, the quality of the bricks leaves something to be desired. Their dimensions weren't quite within the same tolerances which lead to gaps and a lot of extra time shimming and leveling. I wound up doing some mortaring to get things level and square. Overall, it still turned out well, but this added work and if you are considering purchasing this kit, be prepared for this aspect. With all of that said, I was very happy with the design. The instructions were complete, straightforward and fairly easy to follow. It was a big project for a single person, having a helper or two would have made it go much more quickly. It looks great in this space which I am expanding to our pool concrete. The raised patio i specifically designed with additional depth of gravel base to support this extra weight. The paver patio portion isn't complete yet, but I have included pictures of the fireplace since it is now 100% finished!

Little long on the delivery, but not Romanstones fault!!! Every time I called about the purchase, someone answered and ready to help. Install was easy once we got the first layer level after that everything was a breeze. Super stoked about my firepit and everyone that comes over loves it!!!
