Great kit with simple, easy to follow instructions. Lots of extra block enabled me to extend my 36" chimney extension to a full 48" (still have dozens of blocks left over). I did have to purchase extra adhesive from a local masonry store.

Pavers were shipped quickly, arrived in a few days, instructions were clear, plenty of extras. Overall very satisfied with the purchase. Only thing con I can mention is that the color of the actual product did not match the described color on the website, but ultimately it worked out for us, since the actual color blends well with our existing hardscape.

My husband and I decided we wanted a stone fireplace about a year ago. My cousin had recommended RomanStone but I honestly thought it would be too much for the two of us to do. We contacted several stone masons that had been recommended and it was a disaster. Several never showed up when they said they would, a couple priced similar products at around 15K and one got injured 5 days before he was schedule to start. So finally… I just took a leap and ordered the Fremont with two wood boxes. I was contacted a day or two later with delivery details and it was delivered about a week later (a little ahead of schedule). It came on 7 very very heavy pallets and had to placed on paved area in front of our home (luckily a dead end street). This was about 100ft from our patio build site so we had our very generous neighbor take each pallet to the build site with his farm tractor…. Saved us a ton (excuse the pun) of work!!! Then we got to work. We worked about 2 ours each evening after our regular work day on Thursday and Friday…. Saturday the weather was great so we started about 830 that morning and had it complete by 7pm that evening (with the exception of the top block which we had our son in laws place the next day). The stone are heavy but if your follow the directions provided, make sure each layer is level, square, and plumb you can’t go wrong. It was way easier than I expected and we have gotten a ton of very positive feedback from family friends and neighbors.

Great product. Great customer service. Took 2 1/2 days to complete Fremont kit with classic wood boxes. Make sure you keep your build plumb,square and level. Had a skid steer to install cap and wood box slabs. Highly recommend.
