  Did not receive the shaped stone shown on the online video. Other than that it's basically a lego set for adults. Its expected that the stones are not perfect so you constantly need to make sure you are level every time a stone is stacked. Some of the stones received will not be in good condition and you need to make them work.

  Thank you for your review. The video description states it is the older model being built. Every kit comes with extra blocks to keep from using damaged ones. I agree it is like Legos for adults. I hope you enjoy your fireplace for years to come.

  Great quality product. Great service (even on the weekend). Total project was about 16 hours with myself and my father-in-law. It did take four grown men to lift the capstone onto the chimney. Total shipping weight was 15,700lbs that came on 9 pallets with curbside delivery. This included the fireplace, wood boxes, and base extension. Had to have a buddy come over with a skid steer to move the pallets for me which did quite a bit of damage to my yard. Highly recommend!!

  The kit arrived on a Friday. My wife and I had poured the pad the week before so we decided to lay out the first two courses. All good. Got up the next morning at 6am. She and I worked on it most of the day, and finished at 4:15. Everyone is impressed, as our we. Instructions were simple and easy to follow. One item of note. The shelf and capping support stone are pavers. We used a wet saw to remove the nubs. Looks so much cleaner.
