  Ordered Klipsch RP-500C II on-line after verifying stock availability using webchat. It was the only store in Ireland having 1 available in the walnut finish . Order placed on Thursday evening , email confirmation received,dispatched Friday , tracking info sent ,and delivered Saturday before lunch. Excellent service and very professional.

  Audeze LCD2 Open Back Headphones

  Am enjoying the Audeze LCD-2 planar headphones which i chose after auditioning several other well known brands at a similar price point or above. The play very nicely with my Graham Slee SLDE Headphone amplifier. The LCD-2 build is superior and any concerns I may have had regarding the weight of the phones on my head for long listening sessions were allayed - they are very comfortable. As for sound quality as one who listens to a lot of contemporary and legacy rock these are superb with a tight grip on bass and excellent presentation of detail. A real step up from my previous mid market phones. I highly recomend an audition.

  Audiolab DC Block Direct Current Blocker

  This diminutive box with its filtering circuitry has worked wonders cleaning up the output from digital sources. I have A / B tested it on my CD player and Network Bridge and it improved presentation of content, detail, soundstage and impression of natural sound that complimented and got the best out of the source it was providing power to. I have since replaced the IEC14 to IEC13 cable (provided with the unit and probably the only weak point of the package) with my high quality shielded cable via an IEC14 to 3 pin adapter with short cable. This allowed me to continue to leverage my prior investment in audiophile power cable and the benefits conferred. All in all recomended and for a fair price.

  Silent Angel Bastei DC Upgrade Cable - Black Tiramisu

  I was initially lent a Silent Nite Forrester F1 power supply to home demo. Supplied with it was a Silent Angel Bastei orange power supply cable. This was on a different level to the cable supplied with the unit. Damien from Kronos, kindly lent me the entire Bastei range. Together with the power supply, which really improved my network switches performance I opted for the Black Tiramisu cable. It was a really good demo service from Kronos, and at no time did I feel rushed to make a decision.
