  Titan Audio Nyx Mains Cable

  This mains cable was in a sale and in spite of my initial skepticism, made a subtle but obvious improvement to the sound of an Eversolo DMP-A6. Not 'night and day' but the sound became fuller and clearer, particularly in the bass.

  Titan Audio Nyx Signature Mains Cable

  As ever it takes time to ' burn in' and this is still taking place. I connected the cables to my amp and cd transport. These cables has opened out the sound stage, allowing more space for each performer. Initially there was a coldness to the overall sound but this is gradually warming. All in all I am very pleased with the cables and continue to enjoy the development of the sound, entertainment in itself.

  Quad Revela 2 Floorstanders

  I auditoned the new Quad Revela 2 a few weeks ago; Quad were excellent in responding to my enquiry and sent a demo pair to a Kronos AV (I already own Quad pre and power amps). After 1 hour of auditioning them I bought a pair; these are seriously impressive in their clarity, soundstage, depth and overall presentation. They sound wonderful and have transformed my system, despite replacing highly rated floorstanders from another major brand; they have been the best improvement I think I could have made in my hi-fi system. Great support from Andy at Kronos AV who were very helpful and highly recommended.
