Still running it in but after 30 hours, nice airy soundstage. Good depth and layering. Terrific with voices. Less heft than the Cadenza Bronze it replaced, but the bass is clean and fast and at half the price of the Bronze it is excellent value. My old 60's Decca classical records sound wonderful.

AFAnthony F.Verified buyerHaving originally had in mind to purchase a Bluesound Powernode, I agreed to also audition this streaming amplifier from Waversa, a company I was unfamiliar with. I thought the Bluesound was good until I listened to the WSlim LITE 2.0, which exceeded my expectations, having much greater detail and musicality in its performance. It is, of course, a more expensive product, but worth the extra cost, especially at the competitive price offered by Kronos AV. In the shop I listened on speakers that were undoubtedly at a higher price point than my own Monitor Audio Bronze 200's. However, I have not been disappointed when listening at home and it is a huge improvement on my old system which combined an ancient amp with a Raspberry Pi based streamer. My only small disappointment is that the Waversa WSlim LITE doesn't have Hi-Res services such as Qobuz or Tidal integrated in its software, only Spotify at this stage. I use a MacBook laptop but Android phone and tablet - so playing back Qobuz through the DLNA connection is easy from the Mac using AirPlay but requires a third-party app on Android. Having experimented with a few I've settled on mconnect Player, which seems most user friendly. This is a small inconvenience to what is otherwise a superb listening experience listening experience.

However, the Eversolo dmp-a6 itself, although it sounds superb, is let down by a poor user manual, which seems to be only half finished and badly written, thus difficult to understand. Also, the controller app, which doesn't even have all the functionality on offer from the main screen, doesn't make for a great experience. Hopefully future updates will address these issues. On the whole, this is a lovely looking device with a great sound quality.
