We initially chose K&M because their website was by far the most informative and user friendly. It made recommendations about materials and sizing and had a detailed schematic for every chimney cap option. After placing the order, the staff were responsive and did a great job keeping us up to date on the progress of our order, including delivery. The cap itself is beautiful. It fit perfectly and was ready to install. We hope to enjoy it for years to come.

The quality of these far exceed my originals that were destroyed in ice-damming this past winter. They are much heavier and are priced Right, although shipping is extremely expensive and adds to the cost. I have nine downspouts in my Victorian home that I wanted to decorate with these functional and period accurate strainers.
Great product; very stout. My biggest complaint is that it isn't compatible with standard 3"x4" spouting. Also, the lead time was quite long.
Have not installed yet but it is a really nice piece

The 3"x4" model is specifically designed to fit standard 3"x4" downspouts, with actual dimensions of 2.875" x 3.875". If you were expecting something different, we’re not sure what you were comparing it to. As for the lead time, it’s clearly stated on the product page before checkout.
