  Plain Round Copper Downspout Cleanout

  Great

  The product fits my downspouts perfectly, and is working well as a diverter for a rain barrel system. The only issue is that when the spout is down to fill the rain barrel, it does not make a tight seal with the inside of the downspout cleanout, and some water will still drain out the regular downspout, as stormwater. I solved this problem by creating a watertight seal using swimmers wax! It was easy, cheap, and works flawlessly. But you could re-design the product to eliminate this issue entirely.
