  The Federal Conductor Head | Leader Head - Copper, Aluminum, Steel

  Okay

  I was disappointed. I am not sure why the conductors would not come already watertight since that is the application they are made to be used in. With that said, I paid the extra $5 each to have “caulk” applied. Which the 4 units came in-caulked. Not sure why this is even an option....it should be standard, not sure why anyone would want it to come otherwise. Anyway, I caulked the inside myself.

  Hi Mark thanks for the review. The reason we don't caulk the conductor heads is that architects and designers are very picky about the type of sealant used and there are so many different types it would be impossible for us to stock all of them so we offer one choice of sealant and give the customer the option to have it sealed by us. I looked at your order and you did not select the sealant option for the 4 Federal Conductors that you ordered. I'm sorry it was not what you were expecting and hope you will think of us for future projects.

  We had ordered one and did not pay extra to have it sealed. Our gutter guy used his own sealant and installed great. Needed a second one and we paid extra for you to seal. Our gutter guy made my husband pick the silicone sealant out and he then sealed it his self. Great product would NOT recommend that you seal it, that is why I gave one star.

That way I can figure out what happened and make sure it doesn’t happen again. I’m going to refund you the cost for the added sealant on your second order.   Copper Euro Plain Round Downspout Bracket with Screw

  Quality & price good. Shipping costs and delivery time, reasonable. After ordering (not before), my email confirmation said in red type, "Orders may take up to 14 business days to complete plus shipping time." Glad this wasn't the case with my order, but that should have been messaged at the time of the order, not afterwards. Perhaps it was and I missed it. ??
