  Victory Series Moyie 8' 0" 3-wt Medium Action Bamboo Fly Rod

  Last week I caught a 20” Clark Fork rainbow with my 3wt Moyie on a #18 Purple Haze. It ran almost int the backing 3 times before it ran out of steam. The rod was bent waaay over for most of the tussle, but the rod certainly lived up to it’s billing. I’ve caught bigger fish over my 50+ years of fly fishing, but this is the most fun and excitement I’ve ever had landing a fish. Thanks for the great rod, HB!

  The Deschutes 8' 0" 6-wt Medium Action Bamboo Fly Rod

  I may have already written a review of this rod. Well, if so, it needs a few more words. For the last few days I've been throwing poppers for smallies on my local river. Need to say that this rod just keeps getting better and better. The water keeps getting lower and clearer and the rod is letting me toss long stealthy casts that are paying off. Having a blast with it.

  The Metolius 7' 6" 5-wt Medium Action Bamboo Fly Rod

  Finally made it to the river to do some fishing and I love my Metolius. Decided it should get it's first run on Metolius :) I have it setup with the silk line and a furled leader and the action on the rod was wonderful with great delicate and controlled presentations with everything I tried from a #8 October caddis down to a 16 parachute Adams.
