MHMichael H.Verified buyerI ordered my Imnaha 7 foot 4 weight rod a few weeks ago. It quickly arrived and I eagerly awaited yesterday to fish it for the first time in a river. (Heretofore I only cast it in my driveway, a delightful, but limited experience). I fished the Silver fork of the American River in Northern California and despite no action, it was the most delightful flyrod, I have every cast, mended, or retrieved. Better luck next time, but the experience of fishing with it, was enough for me to know that I will be ordering a Victory model next. Can these every be special ordered to flame treat them. Aside from my Inmaha being a great fishing rod, it is the most beautiful bamboo rod, I have ever had, including rods that cost four to eight times its price.
MMMichael M.My wife purchased an Imnaha, 7’6″ 5wt Victory series rod as a Christmas present for me. Because of the virus situation, I haven't been able to fish it until recently. On a recent trip to Arkansas, I planned to fish for trout, but high water made that impossible. So I went to a local stream to fish for smallmouth bass. I caught a beautiful 16" bass that really put a bend in the rod. I loved the casting and the fighting action of this rod. Would recommend to anyone looking to try bamboo for a modest price.
