Nice balance reel for my 6'8" bamboo 3 wt. wish the retrieve had little lighter friction but it's minor compared to the look and style of the reel. Nice job
These reels are a great step back in time if you are looking for a classic click and pawl fly reel. They feel like a Swiss watch. I wish Headwaters offered a spare spool.
Haven’t had a chance to load it with backing and fly line yet. Has a very classic and vintage look and feel. Quality is excellent. Can’t wait to use it with one of my Headwaters Bamboo rods.
