I've bought a couple of these reels previously from Headwaters Bamboo and really like them. I purchased this one as a gift to accompany my extra 3-weight rod that I gave to my son-in-law. Great company who makes and sells fantastic flyfishing equipment.
I have bought two bamboo rods with one reel then I bought another reel shipped to me but I notified co.that screw was missing they will repair but I would like to change the reel for 3 1/2 in. Not 3 hope they will change it and the company will be in good standing
Arrived in three days, very impressive service, very well packaged, not much chance of damage from shipping.
Our weather has been mild enough that I have been able to get out and do some casting in yard and this rod will win your heart in just a few minutes, What a beauty !! I love the smooth action, the fit and finish, just everything about this outfit. I have two graphite rods that I use for crappie and bluegills and I am afraid those rods are going to begin to gather dust !!
