Absolutely a great DIY fireplace kit. The Princeton fireplace with 2 classic wood boxes and a 36” chimney extension took 12 hours to build with just my waifs and I. Quality product, great instructions, and helpful staff/ customer service group! This kit locally to my house would have costs a 1/3 more than what this kit ran cost wise. Could not be more pleased. Thanks

I absolutely love my Princeton fireplace. I have done many DIY projects in my yard, but this one takes the cake. It came out beautiful. I am a 49 year old woman who built this all by myself. It took me a few weeks, I have a bad back and I took my time and only did a few layers each day, but I did it. I had a friend help me put the top cap on as that is a two person job. The company was so helpful With my purchase, questions, delivery and amazing customer service. If you are on the fence about this project….GO FOR IT….. you will not be disappointed!!!
CDChristine D. Great service/ phone updates!!!

When I order a fireplace, the next day the friendly staff called me to confirm my order and shipping information. They were able to get all materials to my home in a couple weeks. The instructions were done well, making it easy to follow. They give you a few extra blocks, in case something is damage during shipment. The pallets arrived with no damage. There was just barely enough glue when we got to the top stone. It is definitely doable on a weekend. I think it took the longest to make the base perfectly level and square. I looked at pricing blocks and making it with the blocks at Home Depot or something. Buy you have to make a lot of cuts and it wouldn’t look as nice as this turned out. I would definitely recommend buying this!

Hardest part was getting all the blocks to the backyard where the fireplace was to be built. Assembly was pretty easy and yes the Hardest part was getting that 100 +pound top piece into place. Took 3 of us. Only dislike was I had to go buy more glue. But overall it was a great experience and adds huge value to my home. Thanks -Greg D
