I could not be more pleased, from delivery to the finished product. I spoke with someone at Roman Stones before delivery, who stressed the obvious importance of preparing the bed. But I took extra care and as he predicted, it was like “icing in a cake.” Instructions easy to follow. Stones arrived and were delivered via liftigate to my front stoop in Brooklyn, NYC. Looks great and survived Superstorm Henri. Very satisfied customer.

We had our first fire last night, and it was fantastic. Even my 16 year old sat there and enjoyed it without being on his phone! The entire process was fairly painless. The order arrived within 2 weeks....9 skids. I tried to bribe the delivery guy to move the skids into the driveway, but he wouldn't. Fortunately, we had rented a pallet jack. So my sons and I dragged and pushed the skids up the slight incline into our garage. The blisters were real. Buy some gloves. The actual fireplace build only took 2 days for my 2 sons and I - probably 15 hours or so. We had to bring in some muscles for the firebox capstones, and we rented a material lift for the chimney capstone (I highly recommend this as it took only about 10 minutes). The only issue we had with the build was with a couple of the fire brick...we had to chip the edge of some to fit them in. We finished it off with a self-built mantle (wife wanted a deeper one to put more stuff on it), a 16x16 deck, and 6 rocking chairs. This is a fantastic addition to the backyard. We're looking forward to extending many pool days by walking a few feet to enjoy an evening by the fire with friends and family.

Stack and glue made it fast and clean. Just start out on a level foundation and you’ll have no issues. I highly recommend this kit.

My experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. The ordering process was easy, shipping was quick, but most importantly, their communication was top notch. The fireplace was is exactly as described and simple to assemble. The directions were very clear and made the build process to really smooth. I did decide to dye some of the stones (mantel and cap stone) a darker grey for more of a contrast. And I added my own vintage gold firebox screen. I’m in love with how this tired out and will be ordering from this company again.

This was my summer DIY project and I’m so happy with how my circle paver patio came out! I purchased two circle kits to reach 12.5 feet diameter, but I wanted it to stretch to around 16 feet. Customer service was top knotch and let me in the right direction on how to do so. I went to a local masonry and purchased 6x6 cobble pavers to get desired diameter. Thank you so much!
