Hello, I completed building the Fremont fireplace. I am impressed by the Romanstone experience from beginning to end. The website design, quality, structure and documentation of the products sold me on the legitimacy of the product. Checkout was a breeze, there were no hidden fees and email/phone communication throughout the shipping/delivery process was clear and punctual. It's nice to speak to a human during the process. Unpacking, and building the fireplace was easy due to the preciseness of the directions and website videos. The blocks were dusty (hard for glue to adhere) and many had chipped corners. But neither of these issues were show stoppers. In hindsight, when transfering from the pallets to the "job site", I wish I stacked the blocks in order of which sides I'd use facing out vs the chipped sides. Then when I was building I'd know which block to pull for each layer. As some buyers may be hesitant to buy from a small online business, to legitimize the business, you should focus on tying social media reviews etc into the site. -Dan Shaw

Smooth transaction and excellent customer service. The instruction manuals were great. Delivery from Old Dominion could be better, they basically said they will drop it on the side of the road - all 10 pallets - had to convince and help the driver place them on the driveway. We bought the Princeton fireplace with 2 wood boxes and wall extension. This was professionally installed along with our patio. So I did not really DIY but the landscape company was impressed with the quality of both the material and the instructions. We also added lights to give it that pop in the night. Very pleased with Romanstone! You’re going to have the coolest yard in the neighborhood !! :)
