I built a 12.5 circle from two kits around an existing 4 ft fire pit. I had enough left over to build a firewood platform, four small (18")circles and two 42" circles making a path to our garden and bird feeders. My wife has still got to come up with a use of the rest of the excess.

My wife gave me the green light to buy the kit. A friend and I, both in our 50's, put it together in a weekend. Instructions are easy to understand. Trust me when I say, if we could do it anyone can. We're car guys not masons or construction workers. I originally ordered 2 extra chimney extensions, but only added 2 courses. I think it looks perfect. I'm going to use the extra stone to build something else ... Thank you for a great kit!

Your staff called me repeatedly (3 times in a row) while I was working on video conference (COVID) and came off very unprofessional. I was then emailed by Paul to call them and ask for him, which I did once my conference wrapped as well as two additional times before the end of the day. Each time he was unavailable or the person that answered said they didn’t know where he was. So at this point I emailed them asking what questions he had so that I could avoid any additional delays. Shocking, but I didn’t receive a response. Not sure why phone takes priority over email. So I then cancelled my entire order, got a response on that one. Serves me right for not buying local and trusting some random company on the internet. Buy local, forget these clowns. Thanks for asking for a review, happy to share my experience.

The purchase, delivery and build were all fluid and easy. The build (Princeton Fireplace, 2 standard wood boxes and 2 foot chimney extension) in total took around 9 hours. We did have to purchase some extra landscape adhesive but we made sure we used a decent amount as added insurance. The hardest part was getting the chimney cap 13 feet up in the air (fireplace base is 20” out of ground), I still don’t know how we managed that. We love the fireplace and get compliments from anyone who sees it. It was the perfect addition to our backyard build.

With this Party Pad kit, I know that building the paver circle kit first works best in helping to create a curved template for the block seat wall to fit around.
