  6 Year Warranty

  This replaced an Intel Nuc which only lasted three years, a previous Nuc only lasted six months but was replaced under warranty. The six year warranty on the Nucleus One is therefore reassuring. Setup was a breeze and it loaded my library of 4K albums quite quickly. Based upon albeit very limited listening (busy week) I can’t say whether it sounds any better than the Nuc. Externally build quality seems very good in fact better than I expected and obviously much better than the Nuc. So pretty pleased so far and a solid 4 stars which could be 5 depending on reliability.

  Purchased from Kronos av on pre order Now arrived thanks very much . Upgraded from blue sound node 2i . This sounds far better In fact ide say my hi fi is sounding better than it has in a long time . Tried chord dacs in the past mojo 2 and Qutest . They seem to be lacking in a way . Since plugging this icon in the sound is detailed clear musical and natural with depth height and width that I haven’t got with the chord dacs . I will also add that this sounds better after a few days use . A word of advice to rega aethos owners do not match with chord dacs they strangle the music . This icon is a natural musical performer .

  Michell Engineering Orbe Clamp Kit

  This is absolutely worth every penny. I've received a few dish-warped records over the last few years and the normal Michell Clamp with Felt Washer has helped but not completely solved the problem. Not an issue with this, everything is as flat as a pancake. Brilliant.

  Hana SL MKII Low Output Moving Coil Cartridge

  I expected more detail and clarity at the top end and got it, but the improvements went from bottom to top. I was surprised by the improvements in the bass- deeper, tighter and better controlled. It’s easier just to say that everything is much more musical than to get into aspects of the sound. Albums I knew were worthy but didn’t quite hit the spot with me are now enjoyable and even bear repeat playing. So, better all around and worth every penny.
