The start wasn't great. It doesn't tell you in the instructions the lights only start working as described when it is fully charged I surmised that was the problem. There is a definite improvement in detail across the frequencies (realism). As I already use Power Inspired's AG1500SAC ReGenerator I think the improvement will not be as great as replacing the wall-wart power supply, supplied directly from the mains. So I am really pleased in the better sound, it may just show how detrimental wall-wart power supplies can be. When I get some more time I will try the Phono stage connected directly to the mains and then via the Accu that may be a truer comparison of mains wall-wart to Accu battery power. It might show what sort of job Power Inspired's AG1500SAC ReGenerator is doing as a bonus.
